Practitioner-Scholar Model: Vision and Action Plan
The word order carries the meaning. Get that right, then post a vision statement and action plan concrete enough for a peer to give you useful feedback on.

Practitioner-scholar and scholar-practitioner are not the same phrase
The distinction the prompt is built on is a matter of emphasis encoded in word order, and it is worth stating plainly because half the posts on this topic treat the two phrases as interchangeable. In the practitioner-scholar model the practitioner comes first: you are primarily a professional who applies psychological knowledge, and scholarship serves that application — you consume research critically, evaluate your own practice, and use evidence to decide what to do on Tuesday. In the scholar-practitioner model, which describes the doctoral programme, the emphasis reverses: you are primarily a scholar who also practises, and generating knowledge is part of the role rather than a support to it. Neither is a diluted version of the other. Say which describes your own programme and what that implies about the balance between consuming and producing knowledge in your work. Say which of the two you were expecting when you enrolled, because the mismatch is worth naming.
Then do the second half, which is where the marks are and which posts routinely skip. A vision statement here is a description of the professional you intend to become, and it should be specific enough that somebody could disagree with it — the population you want to serve, the setting, the problems you want to be good at, the kind of contribution you want to make. An action plan turns that into steps with timeframes: the courses, the practicum placements, the supervision, the licensure requirements, the professional memberships, the skills you know you lack. Two things make it useful to a peer reviewer. Name at least one gap honestly, because a plan that assumes you are already competent gives a reader nothing to respond to. And attach dates, since a plan without a timeframe is a wish and a peer cannot tell you whether a wish is realistic.

For your response post, you do not need references as personal experiences would count as response posts. If you however cite anything from the literature for your response post, it is required that you cite your reference. You should include a minimum of THREE references for papers in this course. Please note that references should be no more than 5 years old except recommended as a resource for the class. Furthermore, for each discussion board question, you need ONE initial substantive response and TWO substantive responses to either your classmates or your instructor for a total of THREE responses. There are TWO discussion questions each week, hence, you need a total minimum of SIX discussion posts for each week. I usually post a discussion question each week. You could also respond to these as it would count towards your required SIX discussion posts for the week. I understand this is a lot of information to cover in 5 weeks, however, the Bible says in Philippians 4:13 that we can do all things through Christ that strengthens us.
