Doctoral writing
What each doctoral writing question is really asking, how to structure the answer, and where the marks are likely to sit.
Being open to feedback is a disposition and it earns nothing here. Intentional means a process you could describe to someone else — which is what to do when two reviewers disagree.
The previous version and its feedback go in as an appendix, which means the grader can see exactly which comments you acted on. That changes what this assignment is: not a better draft, a demonstrably responsive one.
Every section of the template is checked against every other one. A prospectus fails on alignment far more often than on any single section being weak.
The self review is the assignment, not the draft. Finding your own weaknesses before a reviewer does is the skill being trained, and a review that finds nothing has not been done.
Three chapters written months apart do not become a document by being placed in one file. The reconciliation is the work, and it is where the benchmark marks are.
You are drafting a results chapter while implementation is still running. That sounds impossible and is not — most of the chapter is structure and method, and only the numbers are missing.
The attestation is a signature, and the essay is about autonomy. Both are easy to treat as formalities, which is precisely why the strategies most people write are the ones they will not follow.
