Research topic development

This proposal is graded now but designed to be cashed in two weeks later: an introduction with a working thesis, headings that each carry a two-to-three sentence commitment, and a references page that fronts the Final Paper's five-scholarly-source minimum before the paper exists.

A proposal completed on the Con-Position Proposal Template, in which you review the Counterpoint: Vaccines: Caution Advised article as a model con article, then create a working thesis statement and a basic research plan that accounts for context, audience and purpose and presents potential sources, in APA format, with a worked example on pages 269 to 270 of the course textbook.

Two inputs are named for a reason — the recommendations deck sets the boundaries and your application says what you already claimed to care about — and the contribution question is asking you to identify a gap, not to express enthusiasm.

Describe the difference between a nursing practice problem and a medical practice problem, give one example of each, and explain why a PICOT question must be built on a nursing practice problem.

Write a 2-3 page paper exploring the background of your practice issue, defining it from the literature across seven named sections — introduction, definition, epidemiology, clinical presentation, complications, diagnosis — and closing with your PICOT question.

The instruction is to establish a topic, not a research question. Narrowing now is the commonest way this loses marks.
